If you need to contact the Oroku Saki (the Shredder) in way that is too small for a log or post, than just comment here. This can be either [video], [written], [action], or [voice]. Just make sure to specify which one, and the date.

How am I playing the Shredder? Comments on how I can improve my performance are appreciated.

Trolls will be ignored.

[Alright, he'll bite. He'd like to know who you newcomers are.]

I am guessing that all the new faces here are the "New Feathers". At this point I am sure you are aware of the rules around here, so I will not bore you with a speech. [He laughs.] I am Oroku Saki, and I welcome you all to Luceti.

[The Malnosso had dropped him off just on the outer edge of the village. The little red alien (With little white wings!) slowly rose from his place on the cold ground and stood unsteadily on his many short tentacles. His eyes are dilated and unfocused and he is foaming slightly at the mouth oh god, is he rabid?. If you were to poke or touch him god knows why you would want to you would notice that his skin is burning hot and is remarkably dry to the point of being a little flakey.

The Utrom groans and mutters something in some language and totters off in any random direction. From this point on, he can be found anywhere in the village except where he should be going. The little ten inch tall alien warlord can be found trying to walk up walks (only to fall halfway there), bumping into things, declaring wars on plants, or simply just falling on his face (with an audible splat).

((OOC: His human voice and Utrom voice aren't the same, just to let y'all know.))

[This simple village and those who are content to live inside it wearied Ch'rell greatly. But that is human nature isn’t it? To accept what is done to them and attempt to make the most of it. Their almost admirable adaptability is countered greatly by their multitude of weaknesses and their love for strife. They do make amusing and sometimes competent subordinates.

He had not come out here to ponder the existence of humans however. He had come out here to get away from them.

Ch’rell kneels down in the middle of a forest clearing and folds his hands onto his lap. He finds that he spends a lot of time out here. Perhaps out in the silence of the forest he feels less trapped and confined. He inward berates himself. He has been amongst the humans for so long that he has unwittingly adapted some of their habits and thought processes. Trying to delude himself into thinking that the situation is anything besides what it is is a good example.

He closes both his eyes and the eyes of his exosuit and allows his mind to clear.

[ooc: Should your character bumble in on him, don’t expect him to be Nice!WellMannered!Saki he has been so far :3 Any interruption will annoy him, so feel free to bug him :D]

[Considering how busy Ch'rell is on an ordinary day, for him to suddenly have absolutely nothing to do on a daily basis is a bit jarring. He refuses to admit that he may be a little bored, because boredom is for those who are not intelligent enough to entertain themselves. So, in the meantime, he'll try and talk to the miserable, pathetic, mindless drivel fellow citizens of Luceti.]

Honor, duty, love, pride, and hatred. Out of these five things, what would you consider to be the most important to fight and die for?

[Ch'rell, for example, fought and died for his hatred, and destroyed anyone who dared stand between him and his enemies. Hatred is not something that disappears easily, and he has known his hatred for so long that he does not consider anything else.]

[Long, long ago when he first arrived on Earth, Ch’rell had no means of transportation nor any way to blend in with the humans. So for almost a year he spent most of his time scuttling out of the way of the humans, and watching them carefully. Most of what he witnessed had not impressed him, but that all changed when he first saw humans do battle with each other hand on hand. The moment he obtained his exosuit, and he mastered it to an acceptable degree, he began to learning the secrets to Martial Arts, and then of Ninjutsu. He quickly leaned that the strongest, the smartest, and the most violent have the best chance of surviving.

It is no surprise to him that he has survived on the planet Earth for almost a thousand years. Through the rise of the Samurai class, through the rise of Tokugawa Shogunate, and through the wars that had almost destroyed Japan. Ch’rell took advantage of every opportunity this pathetic mudball gave him, and used that advantage to gain even greater power and influence.

Now, Oroku Saki stands in the middle of a darkened forest clearing with his eyes closed, his shirt is off and is neatly folded at the base of a tree nearby. He is heavily bandaged from hips to chest, though he does not give any clear sign of injury. The only light given to him is the light the feeble stars provides. For the longest moments he merely stands there, his feet set firmly apart and his arms hanging loosely by his side. The wind blows through the trees, causing the leaves to rustle, and finally the man moves, slowly at first, into a Kata he created himself centuries ago. He flows smoothly from one form to another, making full use of the body given to him. His punches and kicks stop at exactly the point he wants them to, and his left arm in particular seems more prone to sweeping and stabbing gestures. Though elegant, his kata is more focused on power, strength, and efficiency.

He appears to be focusing on his movements, but his mind is somewhere else. One thousand years is no small amount of time, even for Utroms. He has spent most of his life on Earth, and in the company of humans of varying levels of competence. Not being among his own kind has stopped bothering him so many earth years before being stranded on Earth. He has give up that right through his actions, and he does not mourn it. Ch’rell has never found the company of fellow Utroms particularly stimulating. Their instance of upholding the peace and justice in their part of the galaxy disgusts him. What point is there in having power, if you do not use it to obtain more? What good is upholding peace when peace is nothing more than a feeble illusion?

The Utroms had not cared for his views on the matter. Their first mistake is letting him go unchecked despite their knowing what his views were. Soft hearted fools, his race is full of them. They have paid for their foolishness however, and they paid for it dearly.

[The voice is heavy, and convincingly filled with grief.]

To all of those... who had so graciously offered to help me find my daughter, Karai, I thank you for your kind thoughts. However, a couple of days ago I was told that Karai had been found brutally murdered in the forest North of Luceti. I was not told much more about the ongoing investigation, but as far as I can tell, not much has been found out about who the culprit is. As many people have stated, she will be returning soon, so perhaps she will have information on her murderer.

I have been separated from my daughter for a long while, and even though our last meeting before Luceti wasn't a happy one, I was glad to meet her again here nonetheless. It grieves me deeply that someone from this supposedly peaceful village would do such a thing to her. I hope whoever had done this to her gets the justice they deserve.

[The feed opens to the concerned face of Oroku Saki, a perfectly ordinary looking blue haired Japanese man.]

Greetings, citizens of Luceti. I, Oroku Saki, would like to know if anyone has seen my daughter, Karai, around the Village of late. She has been gone for almost a day now, and it is unlike her to be gone for long periods of time without letting me know where she is. Though she is perfectly capable of looking after herself, I cannot help but be concerned. If anyone has any information, please let me know.
